What to Expect During A Fire Alarm System Inspection:
Our Inspectors will first ensure that the proper authorities are notified and that the resulting Fire Alarms are only a test of the system.
Once on site, our Technicians will conduct tests to ensure that each component of a system is in working order. This includes testing: Smoke and Heat Detectors, Annunciators and Strobes, Batteries, Flow Switches, Tamper Switches, and Low-Pressure Alarms, Output Relays, and Activations.
Loud Alarms, Bright Strobes, and other disruptive elements of the system will need to be tested, but this should only be a few minutes of the inspection. Let your employees know the expect these disruptions during an inspection.
All points of the inspection will be documents by our technicians and all tags will be updated to demonstrate code compliance.
